Mechanical Department
As the title suggests, the mechanical department of the team deals with all things related to the physical construction of the robots: fabrication, assembly, safety, and testing. Mechanical members collaborate with almost every other division for designing, building, and testing the robots. Students learn about various tools (such as drills, saws, sanders, etc) and how to correctly and safely use them from team veterans and experienced mentors.
